In 2008, Latin Reflections took over running the socials at La Salsa De Hoy Dance Studio. There were many highs, including signature events such as the Latin Reflections Anniversary socials, the Dominican Indendence Day social, and the Holiday social. We've celebrated many birthdays and had probably hundreds of teams perform at Latin Reflections socials. Here at Latin Reflections, we teach a salsa class according to a salsa curriculum. There are 150 shines and 100 turns. In the beginner and intermediate levels, you repeat all the shines and turns you've learned. At the advanced level, there are just too many shines and turns to do in a row, so we learn a new turn and review a few others; we do a shine warmup and learn a new shine.

We have our next social on Friday September 22nd, 2017 from 9:30 p.m. to 2:00 am, with musical selection by "Mr. Showtime" and DJ Jun. Entrance is only $5, with complimentary food. The social will be held at La Salsa De Hoy Dance Studio; a spacious studio with great air conditioning and seating available. Invite your friends, bring a date, and have a great time at the social!

Now in its 15th year, the Latin Reflections dance team has choreographed many dance routines. You can see a small subset of the more recent routines on the Latin Reflections Videos page on their website. The team continues to be inspired by seeing new and innovative choreographies presented by other dance teams.
